Cross Edge

Cross Edge soul location maps SPOILER ALERT!!!

I'll add maps for the playstation 3 RPG Cross Edge as I complete them. Originally not my maps, but I fixed some errors and added items you'll get and their locations as well as scene names. These maps are spoilers if you rather wish to seek things out yourself. Only a few item soul locations have the required search level added as well (each soul has a search level it requires you to have before you can find and exploit the treasures it holds) since I made these mostly on my second run. Hope these help at least someone.

Game walkthroughs and stuff

I'll add some faqs and helps for games I've played. Mostly faqswhatever contain spoiler stuff, for people who want to DIY everything. Plot spoilers, not likely appearing.

Final Fantasy X-2 last mission HD remaster (in progress, I may or may not complete this)

I couldn't find any decent and helpful guides in the net so I started to write my own. I'm  writing this guide as I play it, well I begun doing this after halfway. So this might take a while to finish. At the beginning I chose my character to be Yuna with whom I'll be doing the tower. Hope I will reach the top.

I'll try to add at least the following to this guide  (in random order):
Help
Getting you started
Monster infos
Dresspheres
Trema lookalike item steals
Accessories
Items
Skills
Auto-skills
Traps

If you've played the Chocobo's dungeon game, you'll find this to be like that one.  After initial scenes you start at the root of the Iuctyur tower (can't even write that correctly). To the left side of the screen is a shop and bit further you'll see an al bhed man, talking to him will give you good pointers how this game works so you definitely should see all what he tells you. I'm not going to write them all here.

Once you enter the tower, you won't be able to return to the shops unless:
You die
You use a specific item
Trema lookalike kicks you out

Something to remember:
You cannot enter menu screen outside the tower
Most actions in the menu will consume turns
Shop will appear randomly after taking a lift.
All dresspheres have their own HP, if that hp reaches ZERO the dressphere will be destroyed. If all dresspheres are destroyed, you'll be left with nothing but some ragged clothings and cannot enjoy any benefits the dresspheres provided
All floors are randomly generated as well as anything appearing in them
You need to reach an elevator to move on to next level
Every 5 floors you have to unseal the elevator before it can be used
After every 10 floors, you'll see a scene and gain 3 items (you need to open a chest)
At floors 20, 40, 60 and 80 you'll have to fight a boss (you'd be well adviced to save at the lift before the even then floors)
You can save only at an elevator when you're headed up, every 5 floors or using an item to save at other elevators
Item pouch can carry only 20 items at all times, including the dresspheres (they take so much space)
Loitering around too long on one floor will summon, for your enjoyment, a fiend that looks like Trema in FF X/X-2. He will usually first transform you into a syndicate goon and then maybe kick you out. He is undefeatable. Run like hell when you see him. You'll first be warned a few times about evil laughter heard from the distance until he appears. If he kicks you out, you need to start from floor 1 again.

Status ailments:

Most ailments wear off after enough turns have passed.

Confusion
This sucks ass big time. Your character will start acting randomly, and I really mean randomly. She attacks relentlessly even without an enemy around, moves however she pleases, THROWS AWAY YOUR ITEMS INCLUDING DRESSPHERES EQUIPPED (throwing against an enemy will make the thrown item to shatter), uses items on herself or the enemies, uses whatever spells  at your disposal. I hate this ailment the most in this game. Getting hit won't unfortunately remove this ailment.

Poison
You lose HP each turn you take. Regular ol' poisoning ailment. Yessiree.

Darkness
Attacks miss more often. Can't use some items (can't read 'em?).

Doom
This is also a nasty ailment. Haven't seen a single miss (on Yuna), gives you a doom counter which will start the countdown down and it decreases every time the enemy which inflicted the status moves. Kill the enemy, leave the room or move to the next floor will be your salvation. Killing the foe won't remove the ailment but the counter will stop. It will continue decreasing from the same point if another enemy hits you again with doom. Does not wear off.

Berserk
Makes you run aimlessly and attacking, if an enemy is at your reach she will hit the enemy until it dies.

MP x 2
All spells/skills cost twice the mp to cast.

Sleep
Your character will sleep until hit physically or you wait enough many turns it to wear off.

Silence
Can't use any skills.

Slow
Every move you make, gives 2 moves for the enemies.

Goon
You transform into Leblanc Syndicate female Goon, can't change dresspheres or use items, attack/mag drastically decreased but all spells cost just 1mp. Leave the floor to cure.

Traps:

Biospray
Poisons you

Wind Slash
Damage when stepped on

Sticky trap
You can't move (you can attack etc though)

Plummet
Damage when stepped on

Pit trap
Fall to floor below

Trampoline
Makes you jump to random point in the floor

Boo! Tile
Character is startled and makes character scatter your items across the room

Nefarious Pit
Causes Sleep

Cursed Seal
An item gets cursed (even dresspheres)

Bomb's Wrath
One of your ANY item gets a doom counter and goes BOOM unless you leave the floor

Monsters on floors encountered. There are usually only 3 different enemies on each floor. Here I've listed which enemies I've met on which floor. Sometimes you'll see a pile of stones (attack many times enough, 9, and it'll break, sometimes you'll get an item) and pile of golden stones (every attack you land on it, nets you gil amount the damage you make) marked as enemies.

Special event floors
Sometimes it seems like all you need to do is lay hits enough (or after killing necessary amount of enemies you need to perform an action for seal to break) to unseal one level of the lift, even though you should get kills. Oh well...
Floor      Event                                    Conditions for Unsealing Lift
50          After taking lift                       Kill 10 enemies, 5 free turns (O+select)
55                                                       Kill 8 enemies, 3 empty attacks, 5 free turns, 2 magic books
60          Kill Ultima weapon
65                                                       Wait Trema wannabee to appear
70          After taking lift                       Transform into syndicate goon (took me a few rounds afterwards,                                                                 before the seal actually broke, it broke after I examined the lift and                                                               tried to use it then choosing just do nothing)
75                                                       Kill 8 enemies, throw item 3 times, put item down 3 times, pass 5                                                                  times, attack thin air 5 times
77         Teleport onto fl 80?                See floor 79 below.
79         No lift                                    Trema comes and turns you to goon, then kicks you to floor 77.                                                                    There, loiter around until he appears, turns you into a goon and                                                                      teleports you to floor 80.
80         Kill the boss, thrice.                Have CONFUSEPROOF!!!!!!
